Award Winning Learning at The Wallich
On Friday night, The Wallich Learning and Development Team attend the CIH (Chartered Institute of Housing) Welsh Housing Awards 2009, hosted by BBC Cymru's Jason Mohammad. The event showcased the achievements of organisations and individuals across the breadth of the housing sector in Wales.
The Department was shortlisted in the "Developing Skills and Capacity" category for innovative approaches to training and development and for developing a culture of learning and improvement.
The Team were extremely happy to be announced as winners on the night.

Rough Guide to Rough Sleeping launched in a ‘Cardboard World’ at The Senedd
On Monday November 30th, The Wallich, a Wales based homelessness charity, will be launching a unique publication and bringing a ‘Cardboard World’ to The Senedd in Cardiff Bay.
‘The Rough Guide to Rough Sleeping in Cardiff’ is a pocket size, waterproof booklet offering hints and tips on how to stay safe on the streets and where to go to access help.
It has been written by a former rough sleeper, Marky Quinn.
