We are a homelessness charity and have been working with homeless and vulnerable people for 30 years. We work to find lasting solutions to homelessness and prevent its occurrence by working with those who are in danger of becoming homeless.
The Wallich has been providing accommodation and support services for homeless people for over 30 years, starting with a 20-bed Hostel in Cardiff and expanding to a multi-project agency working in fifteen local authorities in Wales.
We specialise in providing services for people with multiple, complex needs; people who, because of their high support needs, are often banned or excluded from other services and have difficulty in accessing any other accommodation. The range of services that The Wallich offers is as diverse as the client group we work with and the underlying aim is to ensure that all people have access to support that is appropriate to their needs, and that long term solutions, rather than short term fixes, are developed in partnership with the person.
