The Croes Ffin project supports people with substance misuse problems who have been discharged from treatment or prison and are homeless or potentially homeless. They will also have been assessed as needing a higher level of support not already available to them in the wider community.
The support provided focuses on resettlement, life skills and management of tenancy. It enables people to rebuild, regain and develop the skills and confidence they need to make the transition to independent living and to help them make informed decisions, lifestyle choices and build a future lifestyle without drugs.
This innovative project is the first partnership of its kind between two Local Authorities (Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan), two Housing Associations (Newydd and Cadwyn) and a Support Provider (The Wallich).
